Week 4

Unfortunately, this week was a shortened week. I was able to go in on Tuesday and Thursday, but that was all due to another emergency room visit. I was diagnosed with a relatively rare condition that flares up randomly and is extremely painful. I should be able to go back in on Tuesday, assuming the pain has subsided.

On Tuesday, I got out of class early and got to WEAR at 5:30. I went to high school soccer game for a short amount of time due to the home team mercy-ruling the other team. We, then, went to Washington High School to get footage of the quarter-final boy’s basketball games. We got the end of the Washington game and the entire Gulf Breeze vs. Escambia game. Then we went back to the station and watched the 10:00 show. I talked to Dan for a while about what I should do to get where I want to go. I finally left at 12:30 a.m.

On Thursday, I joined the station in the UWF Mardi Gras parade. We walked through campus handing out beads and mini footballs. I pulled the wagon with all the mini footballs in it for the parade. It was one of my favorite things I have done so far, and I plan on being in the parade downtown this coming Saturday.
