This is my final blog post for my internship at WEAR-TV. I really enjoyed my time working at the station, but there is nothing left for me to do. I wish I could have spent the last month at the station, but based on the circumstances, that was not going to happen. There was a lot more that I wanted to accomplish, including making a demo reel, but we cannot always get what we want.
I am in a completely different headspace now than when I started. I wanted to be a sportscaster in January and had no plans of going to graduate school. I was going to apply for a job at news stations as soon as I graduated, but things have changed. I have realized that being a sportscaster is not what I want to do. Instead, I think I want to be a college softball coach. So, I will be attending grad school in the fall as a graduate assistant coach for a team, I am just not sure where yet. It is contingent on what school offers me a job and what graduate degrees that school offers. I am still very appreciative of everything that I learned at the station.
